They don’t call it food porn for no reason. Smoothie bowls are one of the most beautiful things to eat. If you didn’t already know I love my smoothies in the AM as they are quick and easy and fill me up on the go. But your average smoothie just got better! 

If you have a little extra time in the morning and want to not just drink your breakfast this the route to go! I like to keep a stash of toppings in the pantry in sealed mason jars. They look nice and organized and are easy to use.

Here are a few simple recipes to try at home:

Kale, Ginger smoothie bowl - Throw ginger, kale, ice, almond milk, and vanilla protein(if you choose) in the blender. Pour in the bowl. 

Topped with: 

  • shredded coconut
  • chia seeds
  • cashews
  • strawberries
  • bee pollen 
  • pumpkin seeds

Chocolate Smoothie - Blend together chocolate protein, almond milk, dates, banana and ice.

Top With 

  • berries
  • cashews
  • banana
  • shredded almonds 
  • cocao chips 

Blueberry Banana Smoothie - Blend together blueberries, frozen banana, almond milk, and vanilla protein.

Top With: 

  • goji berries
  • bananas
  • bee pollen 
  • shredded almonds
