Is it spring yet? I don’t know if it is this grey weather or that I am just back from a holiday. But this week feels a bit blah.

Do you ever feel like you are just going through the motions? Do you also feel that, that’s just not good enough?

I often hear friends complain that all they do is “wake up-go to work-workout-eat dinner-and do it all over again the next day and the next and the next.” Sounds boring right? Yes, most people have jobs that are not as diverse as they may like them to be, but you can always make a change life is short and there is no reason to feel stuck. I encourage you to find something you are extremely passionate about and go for it!!! As hard and as fast as you can!

If you are not quite there and just feel a little bit bored. All you have to do is Say YES!

Try it for just a week. When asked/invited to dinner, drinks, to go on a hike, attend a book launch, hit that new Pilates studio, whatever it may be - SAY YES!

You will be amazed how much fun you can have.  Who you might meet or what opportunities may present themselves.

I know at the end of the work day once you get home the thought of going back out (into this "Spring weather") seems like the last thing you want to do, but I promise it will be worth it.

Recently, I made last minute decision to attend an event. I was a few minutes late, because, yes, I had to force myself to get back out of the house. But it turned out to be one of the most fun nights I have had in a while. I shook hands with some really interesting people, and ran into an old friend. We ended up having one of those whirlwind evenings - awesome drinks, delishious dinner, serious discussion, and laughing till will could see our abs.

(Actually, now that I think about it I say yes to spontaneous shit all the time. I think I like the thrill. That trip to Mexico, I booked just a few days before the plane took off.) I am not telling you to be that spontaneous, but...

I challenge you to say YES! And see where it takes you. I think you will be pleasantly surprised.
