OK, so obviously most of us want to look good, but do you also want to feel good? I think this might be the more important answer. Health as we all know is uber important and since you only get one body you sure as he!! better treat it well. Feeling good is a game changer.
If you are looking to lose weight there are so many ways to do this that are not exactly ideal for your health and if this is the main goal it is likely to not A. not last as long and B. is more likely stemming from some other issue. We need to work on self-love and positive psychology. Change the goal to “I want to feel good.” You will be glad you did.
Diets are a socially acceptable way of hating ourselves. I have spoken about this many times, I personally feel we need to change the way we use the word DIET. It should just mean the foods we choose to eat. Not a specified outline to lose x lbs in x days. If we choose to fuel our bodies we will never really have to ‘diet.’ (I hope this makes a little bit of sense) When we set goals with a positive intention to love ourselves, feel good and treat our body with love and care we will ultimately look better. And it will last longer
