It is always fun to add something new to the routine. A new article of clothing, a new class at the gym or even just a simple exercise to push your body in a new and different way.
I am currently enjoying two of the above. My new ALALA bomber jacket and cut bra as well as wall squats. Bomber jackets are kind of my new go to for warmth and style, while heading to the gym. And wall squats are great because you can pretty much do them anywhere .
Here is a quick exercise you can add to your arsenal.
Stand with your back against the wall, placing your feet about 2 feet in front of you and hip with apart.
Bending your knees, slide your back down the wall until your knees are at a 90-degree angle. Your knee joints should be over your ankle joints to prevent injury. (adjust as needed - you may need to inch your feet farther from the wall to create proper alignment. Don't let your knees fall into the midline of your body or sway outward.)
Press your weight into your heels and lower back into the wall. Relax your upper body against the wall and hold for one minute. Voila!
